1. Introduction

CATCHCO LIMITED ("CatchCo") has a zero-tolerance approach to modern slavery, human trafficking, forced labour, debt bondage and child labour in our operations and our supply chains. This statement is published voluntarily in line with the spirit of section 54 of the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 and the expectations of our customers, partners and the wider food industry.

This statement applies to the financial year ending 31 August 2026 and will be reviewed annually.

2. Our organisation

CATCHCO LIMITED is a private limited company registered in England and Wales under company number 16635385, with its registered office at 220 Legrams Lane, Bradford, BD7 2EH, United Kingdom. We are the international sourcing, distribution and training arm of the Mumtaz Group — a family-run food business established in Bradford in 1979.

Our core activities, by SIC code, are:

3. Our supply chains

We source food products — including poultry, red meat, seafood, rice and grains, pulses, spices, oils, dairy, produce and prepared foods — from suppliers across Europe, the Middle East and North Africa, Sub-Saharan Africa, South Asia, East Asia, North America and Oceania. We also engage logistics, customs, banking and professional service providers to support trade and training operations.

Modern slavery risks in the global food trade are not evenly distributed. We recognise that risk is higher in certain product categories (e.g. seafood, manual harvesting) and certain geographies. We focus our due-diligence resources accordingly.

4. Our policies

The following policies set out our position:

5. Due diligence

Before onboarding a new supplier, and on an ongoing risk-based basis thereafter, we carry out:

6. Risk assessment

We assess modern slavery risk across two dimensions:

7. Training

All CatchCo employees receive an induction that includes our anti-slavery position, how to identify warning signs in our own workforce and supply chains, and how to report concerns. Staff in procurement, trade compliance and quality assurance receive deeper, role-specific training annually.

8. Effectiveness measures

We assess the effectiveness of our actions by tracking, on an annual basis:

Where a supplier fails to meet our standards, we will work with them to remediate. If remediation is not possible, we will end the relationship.

9. Approval

This statement was approved by the directors of CATCHCO LIMITED and is published on our website. It will be reviewed and updated annually.
